The roles and responsibilities may include:Assist team with proposals - learn and help drive proposal process, start gaining technical writing skills, learn to read through documents and identify key requirements for the proposal, support preparation for client interviewsEstimating support - manage CRM, research capital plans and job boards, maintain prequalifications, monitor bid resultsMarketing - develop content about our projects and things we do that could be shared either externally (i.e. Walsh Social Media) or internally (i.e. videos for company meetings); may include taking photos or videos and coordination with corporate marketing and communicationsBusiness Planning - participate in business planning research and preparation, help format and create beautiful documents for internal/external communication, understand and analyze the market, evaluate budgets and funding trends to see where our market is headedCommunity Outreach and EngagementOrganizing marketing materials and collateral to assist in streamlining the proposal processProofreading and editing of proposal and other marketing contentGeneral administrative support and coordination of marketing initiativesQualificationsCollege-level coursework related to marketing, communications or other related technical fieldDesire to learn more about marketing in the A/E/C industryPro-active and self-starting with a desire to learn new skillsExcellent writing, editing, and grammar skillsStrong communication skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of employeesAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often with short deadlinesStrong work ethic and commitment to excellenceDesirable: knowledge of the Adobe Creative SuiteHourly rate: $21.00 - $25.00Intern Benefits Include:Medical InsurancePaid US HolidaysCompany 401(k) Matching ContributionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)If hired by The Walsh Group, you must be in compliance with your employment location鈥檚 COVID-19 related requirements, if any.The Walsh Group, Ltd.
