Faculty, research staff, postdoctoral fellows and graduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ from all UAF-affiliated campuses are invited to apply for URSA Mentor Awards. This award is an opportunity for mentors to receive funding to engage undergraduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ on their current research and creative projects during the Fall  2025 and Spring 2026 terms. Awarded proposals will clearly describe a project with a distinguished mentoring plan for undergraduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ involved.

Accepting proposals April 14 - June 8, 2025. 

Undergraduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ planning to pursue creative projects or conduct research during the Fall 2025 semester are invited to apply for Student Project funding up to $3,000 for individuals or up to $6,000 for group applicants.

Undergraduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ, graduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ, post-doctoral researchers, research staff, faculty and staff requiring technology-related equipment and/or software for student-based instruction and/or research are invited to apply for an URSA Innovative Technology and Education (ITE) Award up to $5,000.

Accepting proposals February 10 - March 16, 2025.

Travel funds support ³ÉÈËӰƬ presenting research or creative activity outcomes at a conference, meeting or congregation of their peers/professionals in their respective field, as well as ³ÉÈËӰƬ partaking in competitions.

Virtual event registration fees are also eligible for funding. 

Undergraduate ³ÉÈËӰƬ with confirmed unpaid or minimally paid internships are invited to apply for URSA’s Internship Award.  

Internships Applications are eligible for up to $3,000 for a Fall- or Spring-term internship or $6,000 for a Summer-term internship.

Students must have a secured opportunity in order to apply for funding.
