Arctic Leadership Initiative funding, research opportunities

The Arctic Leadership Initiative has opened applications for three key programs designed to support faculty, staff, and ³ÉÈËӰƬ in advancing Arctic research and leadership.

These opportunities provide funding and professional development support to strengthen UA's Arctic mission:

• Early Career Faculty Fellows: Postdoctoral researchers and early-career faculty across the UA system who are engaged in Arctic-related scholarship are encouraged to apply for this competitive fellowship funding.
  
  
• Arctic Engagement Awards: UA personnel (faculty, staff, and ³ÉÈËӰƬ) can receive funding for Arctic-focused research projects, events, or outreach efforts.
  
  
• ALI Student Cohort: UA ³ÉÈËӰƬ are encouraged to apply for the Arctic Leadership Student Cohort, which offers mentorship, travel opportunities, and tuition waivers.

The deadline to submit applications is March 24.
