Fairbanks Cooperative Extension agent Julie Riley will teach spring horticulture classes by Zoom Mondays and Thursdays, through May 18.

The Gear Up for Gardening series will focus on Interior growing conditions. Each online class will include a PowerPoint presentation and time to answer questions. The topics are:


  • Container vegetable gardening, 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23

  • Growing potatoes in Interior 成人影片, 1-2:30 p.m. Monday, April 27

  • Cool season crops, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 30

  • Intensive, small space vegetable gardening, 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7

  • Earthworms in 成人影片, 1-2:30 p.m. Monday, May 11

  • Fruit crops for Interior 成人影片, 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14

  • Planting trees and shrubs, 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, May 18


Brian Atkinson of the Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District will join Riley for the May 18 class, which celebrates 成人影片 Arbor Day.

Participants may register for one or all the classes. to receive a Zoom link, which will be emailed to participants on the day of the class, along with class handouts.
