Humphrey is a third-year BLaST scholar and a senior at UAF. She is graduating this December with a bachelor of science degree in wildlife biology and a minor in sustainable agriculture.

Shift in tundra shrub growth could release more atmospheric carbon

Study shows stronger winds in store for northwestern 成人影片

By 2099, winds along 成人影片鈥檚 northwestern coasts are projected to grow stronger, according to a new study from the University of 成人影片 Fairbanks. To understand past and future winds, programmer Kyle Redilla, of UAF鈥檚 International Arctic Research Center, and Sarah Pearl, an undergraduate from Dartmouth College, analyzed over 30 years of data from 67 airports across the state. They used the observations, along with simulations by two global climate models, to predict future changes in wind. 听听听

Training program for starting seaweed farm

A new training program for people interested in starting a seaweed farm will be held in Kodiak, Ketchikan and Sitka in February 2020. Applications are due by Dec. 20, 2019.
