From September 27th to October 4th, the University Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Complex buzzed with creativity as it hosted Beyond the 9-5, an extraordinary art exhibit featuring visual artwork created by non-art faculty and staff at UAF. The exhibit showcased the immense artistic talents of individuals who, by day, contribute to the university in a variety of roles outside of the arts. Nearly 90 unique pieces of art were submitted by 50 UAF employees, reflecting a rich diversity of styles, media, and personal expression.

Special congratulations go to the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) faculty, staff, and alumni, who made notable contributions to this inspiring event. We extend our appreciation to: Kyle Agustines, JR Ancheta, LJ Evans, Carson Frank, David Glover, Carol Gray, Steffi Ickert-Bond, Allison Juneau, Sarah Lewis, Gail Priday, Katie Tasky, and Helga Wagenleiter.
