Philosophy Degree Requirements
The philosophy major includes introductory philosophy courses, core curriculum classes in ethics and humanities, a broad range of upper and lower-division elective courses, cross-listed and interdisciplinary courses and classes for graduate credit. There is an optional senior thesis and an oral defense for departmental honors. You may also talk to faculty about registering for independent study coursework in philosophy.
